Twice a year, thousands of Harvard alumni make new connections at Global Networking Night (GNN) events in cities across the globe. The last GNN drew more than 5,500 alumni in 85 cities worldwide! The next opportunity to tap into Harvard Network is on Wednesday, January 11.
This year Harvard Club of Pakistan is holding the GNN in Islamabad. We are pleased to announce that Dr. Pervez Hoodbhoy will be joining the Global Networking Night for a candid discussion on Challenges and Prospects of Education in Pakistan.
Dr. Hoodbhoy's Profile:
Dr. Pervez Hoodbhoy is a Pakistani nuclear physicist, mathematician and activist who serves as distinguished professor at the Forman Christian College and has perviously taught physics at the Quaid-e-Azam University and LUMS. He remains one of Pakistan's most prominent academics and is considered one of the most vocal, progressive and liberal member of the Pakistani intelligentsia. He is the author of Islam and Science: Religious Orthodoxy and the Battle for Rationality. Dr. Hoodbhoy regularly writes for Project Syndicate, DAWN, The New York Times and The Express Tribune.
