HCP Lahore Event

The Accountability Lab partners with civil society organisations in the developing countries to build sustainable tools for new and innovative approaches to bolster accountability. They are currently doing pilot projects in Liberia and Nepal. In addition the Lab has started its work in Pakistan, Afghanistan and Zimbabwe

The Accountability Lab Pakistan (http://www.accountabilitylab.org/ ) was founded this year, amidst a context of weak governance and insecurity. The Lab recently received its registration as a local organization, and has been carrying out all its activities. It was selected as a winner of the Making All Voices Count competition, and is training and deploying accountability ambassadors in Rawalpindi to bridge the communication gap between citizens and their political leaders. They are also working to engage Islamabad’s private sector to get involved in relevant accountability issues.

Please join us for an hour of discussion with Blair and his team in Pakistan. The session provides a unique opportunity to learn about the great work the Lab is doing in other countries and how can we benefit from it in Pakistan.
